DA CAMPO A CAMPO

In Venezia there’s just one Piazza (=Square), San Marco square
(and no need to visit it).
All the others squares are called Campo (=Field).
And there is even a Soccer Field, the Pierluigi Penzo stadium,
home of the Venezia FC team.
Actually it’s the second oldest of Italy, built in 1913.
So, the kids are playing soccer in the city Fields,
while the professionals are playing in the proper one.

Somebody says that the Venezia players are good in close dribblings,
because they played in such small spaces as kids.
It happens that the ball is kicked out from the stadium to fall into the lagoon water.
Buta ‘a bala in Laguna! (kick the ball to the lagoon)
is a call to the players to lose time as strategy.
